2011 House Bill 1116: Concerning alcohol sales in state liquor stores and contract liquor stores

Requires the Liquor Control Board to convert twenty state liquor stores to contract liquor stores between September 1, 2011, and July 1, 2013. Additionally, this act requires the Board to convert ten state liquor stores to contract liquor stores, as a pilot program, between September 1, 2011, and July 1, 2012. The Board must study the efficiency of contracting out liquor sales and report back to the legislature by December 31, 2013. In cities, towns, and communities in which no state liquor store is currently located, the Board must allow certain grocery stores to provide contract liquor sales.   Official Text and Analysis.
