2013 House Bill 1133: Allowing beer and/or wine specialty shop licensees to have an endorsement to sell craft distillery products

Provides that beer and wine specialty shop licensees may receive endorsements from the state Liquor Control Board to sell malt liquor in kegs and to sell spirits produced by a distiller producing sixty thousand gallons or less of spirits per year. This act provides that beer and wine specialty shops with endorsements to sell spirits must pay a fee of seventeen percent of spirit sales revenue to the Liquor Control Board. In order to receive or renew an endorsement to sell spirits, licensees’ employees must undergo Board-prescribed training every five years.   Official Text and Analysis.
