2011 Senate Bill 5420: Establishing the intrastate mutual aid system

To create the intrastate mutual aid committee which is a subcommittee of the emergency management council, and to establish an intrastate mutual aid system to provide for mutual assistance in an emergency among political subdivisions and federally recognized Indian tribes that choose to participate as member jurisdictions. To clarify that the new Intrastate Mutual Aid System established in the bill cannot be construed to affect other mutual aid systems or agreements, including the Washington State Fire Services Mobilization plan and the Law Enforcement Mobilization plan, currently in effect and authorized by law.
