2009 House Bill 1412: Health benefit plan coverage of neurodevelopmental therapies

To improve health coverage benefits for neurodevelopnetal persons to enhance and maintain their ability to function and to prevent deterioration. This bill requires all health benefit plans in the state are to provide extended and comprehensive neurodevelopment therapy coverage to all benefactors by January 1, 2011.   Official Text and Analysis.

Expands the neurodevelopmental therapy mandate that applies to the Public Employees Benefit Board health programs and group health plans. Clarifications are provided with regard to age and amount allowable under the program.
