2009 House Bill 1391: Regarding land surveyors

Gives a lengthy and specific definition of what constitutes “practice of land surveying,” including, but not limited to: determining the size, shape or contour of the earth’s surface, determining the positions of boundaries, retracing property lines, right-of-ways or easements, creating or modifying descriptions of the limits of real property interests. Also updates, adds and expands several definitions of professions, agencies or variables involved in the practice of land surveying. (See also Companion SB 5584).   Official Text and Analysis.
