Even though I use a helmet, and believe in them to save lives, I feel that it is not the governments duty to institute a law that requires it's use. Especially for adult, 21 yrs and older, I believe this infringes on our right to chose. I have ridden motorcycles since 1958, long before any laws for motorcycles were instituted. I feel that this bill is a step in the right direction. Thank you.
If indeed the insurance company's were behind the original law that required helmets, maybe they should require that the rider be wearing a helmet to be covered by their insurance.
As written I don't see any removal of helmet requirements in the bill
