Isn't it true that cars and trucks are a much larger contributor to fine particulate matter then my certified wood stove burning a renewable resource? When air quality reaches such dangerous levels restrict cars and trucks in the high density areas. Don't come out to the Mason / Pierce county line to take away my rights. STOP spending money you do not have and take care of the budget. After you have truly got spending under control then work on taking my rights.

Yeah KeyPen, what right does the state (or the federal government for that matter) have to stop you from polluting the environment?  You should be able to pollute all you want whenever you want and wherever you want.  The government has absolutely no business protecting the air we breathe and the water we drink - land owners should simply not be amenable to any restrictions on how they use their land, right KayPen?  Besides, according to Tea Party dogma, all the federal government should be able to do is launch military attacks against other countries and print money, right (or is it only the first thing)?  All the state government should be able to do is - hmmm, I can't think of one thing that the state government is good for, can you KeyPen?  No wait, I think that Tea Party dogma allows state and local governments to give away all of our natural resources to corporations - is that correct?

Keep polluting KeyPen - you are making all of us proud to be red-blooded Americans.

There is no reason for this bill other than to allow government to intrude on our lives and make this a nanny state.  The clean air argument does not hold water as the particulates from the certified wood burning stoves (foisted on us by and earlier legislature) fall quickly to the ground and is absorbed by plants.  potash, nitrogen and carbon are all things that make plants grow.  Too bad the environmentalists don't know this.

This is along the same lines as wind-powered turbines, a clean energy that was suppose to save us from our own folly of using electrical energy produced by hydroelectricity...  It was perfect, it was clean and it was more expensive than hydro...  However that proposal was quickly shot down due someone finding a dead bird at the base of the wind-turbine...  Suddenly wind-turbines are bad and endanger wildlife...  You cannot win with these environmental wackos...

One wonders what it would be like if the legislature actually put as much effort in solving our budget crisis by cutting spending and balancing the budget as they do in trying to regulate the populace and introducing new taxes...

    Vote the Batrastards Out!

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

Pure vitriol.    The way this reads, only "the government" cares about the stewardship of the land, our land - and all "red blooded Americans" are polluters.   To quote Pelosi, "Are you serious?"
