Ah come on why don't you just be honest and call this a tax increase. It is another one that will hurt those with the least the most. It will also help to put more small businesses out of business at a time when our elected officials should be looking for ways to help them.

Will the grants to Public Education be used as well as the grants used by the Seattle School District. This is just another way to take my money and give it to someone else.

Stop spending instead of increasing taxes to support an unsupportable government structure.

I wonder when the taxes are so high for alcohol and tobacco that only the super-rich can afford them and thus the state no longer gets the revenues it is so used to getting from these two "sins" what other legal products they will consider taxing out of existence?

Unfortunately alcohol will never be taxed out of existence, just like cigarettes. Although, ethanol is a much more destructive drug.
