exclude public contracts from the
requirements of prevailing rate of wage provision, which require that
wages paid in connection with public works must be no less that wages
paid in the same trade in a locality.
It is time that bids be opened up to the most competitive bidder. This one move would save the taxpayers of this state millions per year.
