The Department of Fish & Wildlife is already a poor stepsister in this State's government. To transfer its functions and responsibility to an agency,the DNR, who has no special interest in preserving or enhancing hunting or fishing, in order to squeeze a few extra dollars from the State budget, will result in a decline in the fish and wildlife in the State, and slowly strangle hunting and fishing opportunities for its citizens.
