As a region, we need to stregthen our transportation systems, but we need to pay for the work without putting our children into debt. Starting to charge tolls on the Alaskan Way Viaduct will enable the state to pay for some of the preparatory work towards replacing the Viaduct. We have tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the system works smoothly.

The new Tacoma Narrows Bridge has reduced traffic congestion markedly and has been a successful project. Part of the way to finance the project is to charge tolls.

Yes! let the users pay for this "Big DIG" type project. Those of us that never have, or never will use the viaduct are tired of hearing about it. Most of all we don't want to pay for it.

I agree.  Keep king county projects in King county.  And this might come as a schock to those in the state of King, but, the rest of the state of Washing doesn't really care, unless we're forced to pay for them.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.
