Let's face it. The Democratic-majority legisalutre is intent on increases taxes in a myraid of ways. They are playing the sympathy card here by making people otp out of paying a tax to fund parks rather than otping in to paying to fund parks.
Thwy are hoping people will not read the fine print when paying their property taxes. After all, it's easier to tax people by forcing them to opt out rather than opting in. They are hoping that people won't pay attention to or understand they must opt out of paying taxes with this bill. Pretty clever.
