One has to asked what is the real intent of this bill? What purpose does it serve to restore the voting rights of felons prior to them serving all of the requirements of their conviction?
The answer is clear. Democrats want more voters and typically, criminals vote for Democrats far more often than for Republicans.
This is one of several bills introduced this session in the legislature by Democrats that attack the safeguards and common sense necessary for a democratic republic to exist. We must resist their attempts.
