Re: 2009 House Bill 1607 (concerning visitation rights for grandparents)

Please allow this bill to pass, my grandchildren and I would be so happy.  We have been denied visiting with each other since their father met and married his new wife.  Since their birth, this has never been an issue, they were always allowed to visit, sick, well, always.  Now I can barely get an hr or two a month.  If I speak to them on the phone, they consistantly ask " When do we get to see again Nana?"  I just tell them someday.  Please help my beautiful grandchildren and I resume the relationship we once had.  I wish parents would consider the emotional damage they do to young children by taking away a grandparent that was allowed a relationship with them, it is as bad as taking away a parent.
