    The wealthiest segment of our population is the seniors, whether over 70 or over 65.  They also have the most time to devote to fishing.  They should probably being paying more for licenses.

      That is not only the most overlygenarlized statement that you could make it is also very wrong.

      No argument here, but are they physically able to fish?  I would be willing to argue with you that the people who fish the most are younger.

    Why?  Based on your erronious statements above?  Whereas most cultures revere the elderly, the United States seems to want the elderly to support the young'uns.

     Seniors deserve the lower rate for their fishing licenses.  Not all seniors are wealthy.
