Let's all look like pumpkins when we're out 'n the woods!

Wouldn't it be great too if all vehicles were orange so hikers and hunters wouldn't run into each other on those "primitive" roads?

I have a better idea!!!  Lets teach hunters to not shoot at things that look like humans.

As an avid hiker I think this is one of the dumbest things I've heard.  Hunters can't figure out what they are shooting at so we have to dress like a pumpkin?  I'm not the one with the gun shooting at things, why are there laws being made that I have to follow?  I look nothing like a deer, elk or bear.  Wearing orange does not make me look any less like one.

Also, does everything have to be a law?  Why can't you just suggest that it may be a good idea?  Who gets the job of running around and measuring hikers for having 400 sq inches of orange?  What will be the fine for not wearing enough or the wrong shade?

    This is simply stupid.

Note: I am a gun owner and a supporter of gun rights, but non gun owners should not have to change their wardrobe and risk tickets/fines because a hunter may not know what they are shooting at.
