    Tax Relief of Gratitude Bill

Something like... For existing homeowners whose Adult occupants have reached the age of 65 and retired from employment will indefinitely be relieved from Property Taxes. Requirements are they would not have any person between the ages of 20-64 living in the home, nor could any household member be employed full-time. Any home purchased after age 65, 10 years of property taxes should be paid to the state. Locking in the tax rate for those 10 years, and paid by the loan.

    I'm 65, but...

I'm 65, but my wife is 58 (not an uncommon thing for spouses to be of differing ages). With Representative Dunn's bill, I'd still have to pay property taxes until I am 73 - a penalty for marrying someone younger than myself. Duane V (in Jim Dunn's district)
