    Responsibility

I have to admit, I feel sorry for Social Workers who often come under fire for any action they take. (or lack thereof.) We wait too long to make young people be responsible in life, thus we see more and more irresponsible adults. To have an effective child welfare system, you can't be solely responsible as a state. People in the community should be involved. More and more parents as well as neighborhood residents don't get involved, which is part of community building. But we're all too busy with jobs to care about the welfare of our own children.
