    Diabetes

This should not be done. Insulin is classified as a high risk medication and current standard of practice requires a "double check" before administration (RN/LPN/Pharmacist. NACs do not have this education, training- medication administration is not within their scope of practice and should not be. We go to years of college to be granted this priviledge, right and responsibility. You can kill or seriously harm a patient with an insulin error.
