    HB2320

I believe the entire RCW 9.46.240 should be repealed. Makes no sense to have all the casinos operating and I cannot bet in the privacy of my own home. That said HB2320 is a good first step. Thanks, Sid

    Not far enough

The bill that was passed making Internet gaming a felony should be repealed. No less! This was another one of those 'slip it in' bills that passed because no one was really paying attention to the potential impact. Surely there's got to be a better way.

    Makes sense...

I wish they would write a summary to explain why they believe the change in law seems necessary to them. I can understand the purpose of this. Washington needs its residence to gamble locally which employs people within the state of Washington. Gambling services could be categorized as "Entertainment Services" and if services of a gambling site charges a credit card of a state resident, an additional charge for a tax could go to the state. However online services in the state of Washington would be exempt.

    Let's get this going!

It's time for all of the folks that think that SB 6613 (which made playing online poker a felony in WA) was a complete boondogle to get behind this bill and see if we can push it even further. Online gaming needs to be regulated (and taxed) in order to protect us from fraud. There are many efforts on the federal level to move that direction, why are we so lost? Sticking our heads in the sand never works (no matter how many times we try it).
