    From My Cold, Dead Hands.

We need more politicians who will stand up to support the individual right to keep and bear arms. You will have to kill me to take my guns. The vast majority of gun owners in this state feel exactly the same way.

    Good!

Excellent idea; the "Governor" has no business sticking her nose in peoples' given rights in any way. No one has that kind of power to thumb away the 2nd. ammendment. Very good proposal and I urge support. Let's send a message that this kind of arrogant disregard for the Bill of Rights will not be tolerated; especially by some one as naive and arrogant as Queen Christine.

    Well done Washington R's!

Unless the Governor is going to be able to send an armed member of the constabulary or Guard to keep myself and my family safe during/after a disaster, then she should have no ability to declare my possession of firearms during such a time illegal.

    New Orleans!!!!!!!!!!

That pretty much sums up the need for this legislation.

    Absolutely needed!

As New Orleans proved, the government can NOT protect us 24/7, not does it care to (or do I want it to!) This is a bill to limit government, a RARE item in today's Big Brother environment. There should be no question about this bill, STOP restricting those who can care for themselves!
