    Great!

It's a sad commentary on the degredation of our society that we would need such a proposal -- but I think we do.

    Crazy Coots Don't Get it

How does one "teach" sexual orientation? Sexual orientation is something one has. I would have loved to have been taught to have add a homosexual orientation to my natural heterosexuality--I would have had a lot fewer boring weekends! Alas, I am just not attracted to my fellow men, and there is nothing the Superintendent of Public Instruction could have done about it--even without this sad, bigoted bill and the sorry Nazis who have signed it.

    You lawmakers should be ashamed!

Once again, a group of conservative, right-wing lawmakers try to impose their bigotry and intolerance on the rest of us! They believe that by keeping children ignorant of reality that they won't become "gay"! Children need open and honest education! They need to know that they are not abnormal if they are gay. If they aren't, they need to learn tolerance and acceptance of those who are different from them. Education promotes this. Ignorance continues to breed the bigotry and intolerance that is reflected in this bill.

ok uhm, how do you teach sexual orientation? and if you are gay, you should be proud of who you are. The conservatives are just ignorant in this field of education in my opinion!!!!

    Helpful to Parents

This is excellent. This should be a neutral topic in education, not encouraged or opposed. There is no call for any minor to be educated either way about an unnatural depravity.
