This bill allows OSPI to adopt the Common Core State Standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The CCSS will cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars, the math portion isn&amp;#39;t as strong as the math standards we already have, the CCSS are untested, with no data behind them, and adoption of the CCSS will result in local control and local input being removed from the process of public education.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The CCSS should not be adopted.
