Just kill the stupid traffic hazard camera scheme already. A citation should only be issued when a peace officer witnesses a violation and any extenuating circumstance.

I believe that installing traffic safety cameras was merely another method for cities to collect revenue and studies have shown they haven't prevented accidents at all.

Fortunately, my representative is on to this hoax and will vote to get rid of them.

It used to be that you were innocent until proven guilty in this country, now when you drive your vehicular conveyance you're guilty no matter how innocent you are.

Just another tax.

If we are going to have traffic cameras, they must be timed based on speed limit and intersection distance. The "Dirty Tricks" officials learned early on to speed up the time between yellow and red to catch drivers who do not have time to clear the intersection. We also do not want driver's slamming on the brakes and causing rearend collisions to avoid these quick lights.

Use the lights for traffic safety...not cash cows!
