actually what this could allow is the private manufacture of body armor piecing rounds. The type of ammo that makes police and sherriffs dept kinda nervous. COnsidering we've had 5-6 police shot in the last six months..do we really want more potent ammo on the streets of Washington? Does anyone other that police need this ammo? I've seen very few ( none) deer wearing body armor in the woods. This bill is nothing more that a way to place our law enforcement officers in even greater risk than they all ready are .

.By the way it was a Democrat from Montana who modified the way the military buys ammo to help ease the brass shortage, which in turn aided gun owners. Doesn't sound like the Democrats wish to ban or restrict firearms, but rather make it easier for the responsible gun owners, to do thier own reloading easier and cheaper. Also I have yet to see any bill in either house of Congress from the Dems regarding ANY type of gun control..However that type of baseless fiction, does help gun shops and ammo dealers sell more product

Rep. Shea sees the future. He knows the Democrats in both Washington's want more than anything to ban guns so he understands that incremental steps to stop that from happening are necessary.
