    2012 Senate Bill 6312 (Promoting job creation by ensuring access to domestic water for home construction)

    Introduced in the Senate on January 17, 2012, reforms laws pertaining to water supplies and groundwater usage. This act deals with environmental, water use efficiency, and habitat programs. This act modifies funding provisions for projects and activities that enhance flow and habitat conditions in rivers and streams that address areas of concern. Funding is also altered for DOE water acquisition programs. This act also deals with instream flow proposals in the Skagit River Basin. This act directs DOE to provide recognition for recharge of groundwaters by home septic systems. This act also adds requirements relating to building permits in the Skagit River Basin for single-family dwellings not readily served by an existing public water system that utilize septic systems

    The vote was 39 in favor, 7 opposed and 3 not voting

    Luckily enough I got my building kits way before they ever came out with their silly laws. I really feel sorry for the new generation that will have to put up with all their abuse and "justice". Can't a man build a home in peace ?
