Re: 2011 Senate Bill 5598 (Regulating the production, distribution, and sale of marijuana)

State Control Every Issues in Regard to this bill (SB 5598, compaion HB1550)...Sell at state owned liquor stores just as same as buying liquor 21 age limit and soforth for peronal consumption, produced by Tobacco Companies (mainly due to mass production and higher revenue potential) and other businesses (licensed farmers) and for Medical Marijuana, purchase the medicine at the Dispenseries!

No one is allowed to grow personally at home etc...except for businesses paying business taxes, license and other fees and sales taxes etc..

we are paying attention and do not try to sabotage this legallization effort with Anarchic law descriptions!

state contol every aspect of legallizing cannabis and medical cannabis, this is what the people want, it's very simple, no one is allowed to personally grow, you buy from state liquor stores and Dispenseries!

we need/have to stop wasting money on drug wars and start taking care of our budget deficit etc...!!!!!

thank you very much for your considerations and we hope you'll move fast on this issue, the sooner we make it legal the sooner we'll cut down on deficit and revenue to create JOBS!!!!!

Your right, legalize cannabis for medicinal purposes should be allowed through a pharmacy.  It should also be illegal for doctors to presecribe the cannabis without proper medical reasons (cancer etc.) and not for something like wieght loss, or whatever reasons "patients" use when the shop for doctors who will prescribe this in other states.  IF you want to actually do something for the people, make it a law to sell cigarettes in state liquor stores only, then the state could also get into the porn business by making it a law to sell porn only in state liquor store.

This law by the way would make this state the same as CA and OR, facing the wrath of the fed government and the possibility of witholding federal funds if the state does indeed thumb its nose at the fed and their drug laws.  IF the state were indeed willing to do this, why not do it on something meaningful like the job-killing and defiicet building EPA regs, Obamacare, conservation measures, or even listing hydroelectric as a renewable resource.

Makes you wonder what the folks in Olympia are smoking in their "no-smoking" offices.

asap, july 1, 2011 is too long for the SB 5598 to take effect!

pass the HB 1550 first asap, then worry about sb 5598, otherwise people's initiative will be onboard on Nov 2, 2011...

we voted for you to do your job asap for the people (creating jobs, balancing budget, etc...), but it's taking too long, the sooner you legallize hb 1550 the sooner people of this state will benefit.

bg, your post is close to being unreadable, which (if you are using marajuana) maybe the best argument against legalizing pot.  If you aren't using marajuana, then it is a great argument for putting more emphasis on English classes in state-sponsored schools.

Or maybe marijuana legalization overall and not just medical marijuana would be a solution. This way we have better control on the use of this drug. It's a proven fact that an illegal drug is more likely to be binged than a legal drug. I am not a drug use supporter, in fact I am against drugs, I've seen what they can do, I checked this drug rehab centers New York reference for all the information I needed. Marijuana is not the most dangerous drug out there. There is too much debate around it. Legal or illegal, the authorities should solve the problem once and for all.

This is a tricky one indeed. Of course this was a good way of making money online but nowadays people need to come up with new ideas to handle debts and monthly payments.
