    2010 Senate Bill 6337 (Modifying the use of inmate savings accounts.)

    Introduced in the Senate on January 12, 2010, to provide that, during incarceration, funds in a personal inmate savings account may be made available to an inmate to pay for accredited postsecondary educational expenses. Prior to release, inmate savings funds may be used for department approved reentry activities that promote successful community reintegration

    The vote was 47 in favor, 0 opposed and 2 not voting
