ANOTHER idiotic bill that will harm the health and lives of people.

Comparing businesses that help the elderly, sick and disabled by providing home care to public utilities in order to TAX them is draconian and utterly senseless.

As those who testified in opposition to this bill, it will end up hurting those who are low income but not eligible for Medicaid because it will increase business costs that won't be covered by government subsidies such as those available for Medicaid recipients. It may end up driving some out of business.

But the feel good liberals who propose these types of money-grabbing bills don't have the common sense to see the consequences of their stupid bills. If they believe it sounds good, they will propose it. It doesn't matter how many people are actually hurt if it makes them feel good about themselves.

I covered this in my Seminary class today, the importance and the necessity of planning ahead.  Sadly, none of the legislature were present.

Hey, Washington state already has immorally high taxes on the telephone, water, electricity and crap ( sewer service ) used ( or produced by ) the elderly, disabled and sick.

It seems only fair to add such immorally high taxes to their health care services as well.  Everyone know the elderly, disabled and sick are all wealthy and can afford such immorally high taxes more than others.
