Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
What hypocrites so-called pro-choice progressives are! You who support legalized abortion speak of your position as 'pro-choice' or simply 'choice.' This is a damnable euphemism that desensitizes the American public to the genocide that is occurring in government-funded Planned Parenthood death centers. Pregnancy crisis centers are providing an alternative to Planned Parenthood death centers at NO government expense! They are providing CHOICE! And I thought that was the BIG thing with liberal progressives--giving women a CHOICE. Apparently privately funded VOLUNTEER crisis pregnancy centers are hurting the abortion industry in their pocket books. In order to stop the bleeding of those lost $$$ the abortion industry must resort to intrusive government regulation, further RESTRICTING the rights of women to choose. Shame on you!

Looks like a good bill. Informed choice, disclosure of what can and cannot be discussed (so far as the next steps are concerned), privacy, confidentiality. Why would you want to mislead a pregnant woman?

Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
The advocates for allowing mother's to kill their own children while developing in their wombs have come up with some very creative ways to end any dissent to this genocidal murder of the innocent and reward the only organization they want to exist to perpetuate this genocide-Planned Parenthood.
These advocates promote unbridled promiscuity. Therefore, when the condoms and birth control purchased by their favored organization, Planned Parenthood, fail and a pregnancy ensues, the same Planned Parenthood must have complete control over the outcome of the act that created a new human being and increase their profits by performing abortions.
The "medically and scientifically accurate" information mantra is a smokescreen by the pro-abortionist's who fail to live up to their own mantra by not informing women of the consequences of birth control use, the morning after pill, and abortion. They do not have to provide medically and scientifcally accurate information. It is their proverbial double standard. They have different rules.
This bill's real intent is to shut down crisis pregnancy centers because they do NOT REFER OR PERFORM ABORTIONS. That is the only intent of the bill.

Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
Look at the Senate Bill Report and the underlying reason for it is obvious.
Crisis pregnancy centers are associated with church or religious organizations. That is the real objection of the pro-abortionists against these organizations.
And, of course, crisis pregnancy centers take away business for Planned Parenthood, which is the premiere organization making millions of dollars (some taxpayer funded) due to the liberal-controlling sexualization of our children.

Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
Yes, why would you want to lie to pregnant women? I ask that question all the time. When I had my first abortion 20 years ago, I was told it was less painful than giving birth to a child, that it was just a mass of cells, and that if I had the abortion everything in my life would go back to normal. Wow. What a bunch of lies. No one told me that a fetus at 5 weeks has a beating heart and at 12 weeks, when I had my abortion, the baby was fully formed. They also neglected to tell me about the emotional effects of abortion. Skip ahead 20 years later, I now manage one of these pregnancy resource centers and call tell you for a fact that we do not mislead these ladies. As a matter of fact 99.9% of our clients stated they would refer a friend to our facility (and do, it’s how we get most of our business) and 99% felt respected at all times. I don't know many businesses that have those kinds of statistics.
We help the poorest of the poor, over 60,000 women in the state of Washington last year alone. We provide free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds and if these girls come to parenting classes, they have the opportunity to earn EVERY material thing they'll need for the baby by the time its born. All of our services are overseen by a medical director who puts his license on the line if we're deceptive. I can't imagine anyone putting their livelihood on the line unless he was sure everything is on the up and up.
All of our funding is from private sources, which means we take no federal or state money, and yet we we're able to give out over 15 million dollars worth of goods and services in the state of Washington in 2009. Can the state of Washington (or any other) afford to pick up that kind of slack? And lets add in the cost of the bill...the writers figure it’s going to cost to state more than $123 thousand dollars a year. That's all in legal fees...for the lawsuits and appeals that they expect to come from this bill. I expect that number to be much higher, and of course, that's what this bill is ultimately about. PP and NAROL will start with the lawsuits and it will bankrupt the centers. Which is what they want. We're cutting into their bottom line. If you think for a moment that Planned Parenthood gives a hoot about these women, you are mistaken. The only thing they care about is their bottom line.

Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
Where is the scientific proof that abstinence works? Where is the medical proof that abstinence works?
These are the two reasons that the state wants to put restrictions on Pregnancy Centers? The Centers will no longer be allowed to counsel a client about abstinence? This is a bunch of bunk!!! How can you prove something that does not exist? Science would back that up; and how can you have medical proof when there is no baby to have proof of its existence? What a twist of understanding.
Here is a thought for you who want to push this law on our state! The fact that abstinence produces no child, no diseases, no complications, no emotional traumas, no psychological or social problems, no depression because of losing a child, no death of an unborn offspring, no divorces, no breaking up of relationships because of one member (usually the mother and sometimes the father insisting on an abortion) wanting to terminate a pregnancy is proof enough that abstinence works to prevent a pregnancy and that in itself stands by itself to be a fact! On the other hand, when a person decides to carry a child rather than to abort him/her; they choose life. This gives the child its pursuit of happiness either by the parents deciding to raise their child or adopting the child out to another family. This is a good thing for society.

So much for Senator Tom being so concerned about women.......something stinks. He received $$ from Planned Parenthood and NARAL. Hmm, I wonder who benefits from this bill. How about a little payback?????

Re: 2010 Senate Bill 6452 (Requiring certain services from pregnancy centers)
The liars are at Planned Parenthood. They cover up rather than report rape and incest cases. They have been fined in this state for overcharging Medicaid for birth control. They are the ACORN of the baby-killing business.
Of course the pro-baby-killer's want to shut down organizations that actually care about people because that gives them less business.
I am so sorry you believed the lies the pro-baby-killers told you years ago. I did too. And I have paid the price every day for the last 21 years for killing my own child.
Planned Parenthood and NARAL are organizations promoting women and girls prostitute themselves, put harmful chemicals into their bodies, and kill their own children for one reason - MONEY.
Follow the money. It always leads to the truth.

Lanie, I didn't say I believe them, quite the opposite. As I've said before (other than vote the bat-rastards out), Deeds not words.
