Dems want to amend the State Constitution to allow an income tax.

    NO, NO, NO!!!

They won't get rid of sales tax, use tax or any other onerous taxes before adding this one. It's just one more way to tax us into servitude.

    Are they NUTS?

Who the hell votes these people in.  Every year they try to impose a state income tax and every year it gets voted down.  Politicians listen up:  WE THE RESIDENTS OF WASHINGTON STATE DO NOT WANT AN INCOME TAX.  PERIOD.

IF you vote this as law, then you will lose more people by them leaving to a state with no state income tax.  Then what will you have, a bunch of people who cannot get a job or a  living wage (because you're chasing the empoyers away) which you will have to subsidize and raise sales tax to a level where no one can afford to live here.

Instead of a state income tax, here is a progressive idea for you, cut the states budget, cut the useless state-run departments, and cut your pay not those of teachers and law-enforcement, they unlike you actually do something and work for a living.

Vote the bat-rastards out.... Especially Chase and Hasegawa

I hope that the taxpayers of Shoreline do not forget to vote the sponsor and any supporters of this bill out. It is this kind of BS that gives Tim Eyman the following that he has. If people were happy with thier taxes he would have no followers. Remember to throw out the tax increasers!!

Great arguments folks.  Your governments will stop taxing when you don't want roads, bridges, schools, immigration regulations, jails, drinking water, flood control, sewers, teachers, ferries, universities, police, land use regulations, prisons, jobs programs, health insurance, the military, work safety laws, accident coverage, unemployment support, fish hatcheries, weather reports, stormwater systems, disaster warnings and response, border protection, ambulance service, property rights, consumer protection, water rights, labor laws, traffic control, freeways, courts, wars, medical research, buses, food safety regulations, antitrust laws, boat launches, irrigation systems, disease control, air pollution regulation, libraries, garbage dumps, fire services, free parks, and all the jobs related to them.  Where are your specific ideas about how to provide government services without money?
