The result of forcing all children into a state funded health care program will be a worsening of care for all children in the state.  We lost our pediatrician about 5 years ago because he was not recovering his cost of doing business due to the large number of patients he saw who were on state assistance.  He moved to Tennessee where he is able to continue to practice and provide for his own children.

We can take care of our own kids, thank you very much, if the government doesn't rob us blind.  Allow us the dignity of providing for our families.

This bill will force all taxpayers to help fund the health insurance of children for people making up to $63,600 per year.

It is an incremental step to eliminate all private insurance. That is the point.

As the state keeps increasing it's subsizing money amounts in order to switch more people over to state mandated health insurance, there won't be a need for private insurance and private insurers won't be able to compete with the state.

Even if the federal government doesn't mandate socialized medicine, we can be sure Washington State will. And this will cost us more financially as well as end up rationing health care, encouraging more people to kill themselves,  and make us sicker.
