     This is another sensical bill which means it will probably go nowhere.

    Just as most people in their private affairs would blindly agree to spending more money without having all of the facts of costs, our legislator's should have complete and accurate information about how much a spending bill would cost the taxpayers.

     Strikes me as odd, really. As a state employee heavily engaged in the fiscal note process for many years, it is standard operating procedure at my agency to produce a fiscal note within the OFM-prescribed three-day turnaround mandate. How some agencies get away with not meeting this deadline is a mystery to me.
