Re: 2009 House Bill 2197 (Abolishing the department of social and health services)

This looks like a bill to increase the size of government at a time we should be shrinking it. The Department iS too large, rogue and out of control but the solution is not to divide it so it can grow even larger. It's time to face the reality that our government has grown too large and unwieldy and needs to be shrunk and brought back under control. Many of the functions of this department would be better served by cutting the brearacricy and allowing the private sector to take over. Charities and civic groups are much wiser stewards and operate with far less waste and administrative expenses. Please spend your valuable time finding ways to cut expenses and shrink government.
