    Now **THAT** is what I call "common sense gun control"! Article 1 Section 24 of the Washington State Constitution means what it says, regardless of the situation.

     "The right of the people to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed"  Doesn't say "except" or "if" it says "shall not be infringed".  In a state of emergency law abiding citizens must retain the right to carry open or concealed if in posession of a CCW.  Remember, the lawless will not abide by the law, the gangs, drug dealers will keep their guns.  We The People must retain our rights.

     Thank you! I love it when our representatives apply common sense to legislation. Where did RCW43.06.220 come from anyway? I hope this is a trend, legislators searching out bad law and correcting it!

    Since when did the governor have the power to usurp the Federal Constitution?  If she thinks she has that power, then we need this law.  Thank you for proposing it.
