I love ya Glen but what are you thinking? Either it's good for everyone or NO one. Maybe the school districts that gave the inadequate pre secondary education should bear the cost. I've got it, how about making the great tax exempt foundations whose influence helped create the problem (like the Rockefellers) pay the cost. In my family we accept the responsibility for our own shortcomings and pay the costs ourselves!

I am opposed to this idea.  If students are not getting educated at the high school and no amount of money is solving the problem, then where else are these students supposed to get their HS level education??  It appears that the 4 year colleges are the only place left for these kids to get their education.  Why should these students be penalized because the school administration can't get their act together and educate our kids?   This Bill is proposing that we punish the "victims of our bad education system" even more than they already are being punished, with their poor level of education.  BAD IDEA!!!

I agree with this House Bill because I was once a migrant. Fortunately, I was able to become a resident and later a citizen. I finished college last year and I am now working as   a recruiter for a university. I face many students that have great academic standing and good community service and yet they can’t pay for their college. This dilemma just breaks my heart. Those that are against this bill for once put your self in those students’ shoes. Stop criticizing those students.  Remember that they will contribute to the nation once they finish their college education. I would like to finish by saying why not waste money on educating those individuals that will contribute to our economy instead of spending money sending troop and having individuals being killed.

I get it laguis, you think it's ok to cut the funding for all but the foreign language classes because the suckers that have been paying taxes should not get any benefit, just the migrents, Please help this dropout taxpayer understand why my taxes shouldn't be used to pay for my kids remedial education, just yours!
