I am behind this bill 100%.  We have dealt with the leniency of the current standards this past year.  The person that killed my brother got 27 months in prison, but can be out in as little as a year if he behaves in jail.  A person's life should be worth more than that little amount of time.  Nothing will bring back the person that is killed, but the perpetrator should be held more accountable for his or her actions that caused the death.
