    Some help is needed

Some taxpayers have to pay out of pocket fees and co-payments for HMO services and dental costs. For the year 2006, my out of pocket expenses for medical and dental were in excess of $16,000. None of these expenses are allowed as exemptions on the $35,000 income limit now in force. That makes it impossible to live on $35,000 per year - I haven't seen any senior discounts on food, gasoline, or utilities. Something needs to be done - either raise the allowable income limit for senior citizen excess levy tax exemption, allow the costs of medical/dental as an add-on to the $35,000 limit, or a combination of both. Disabled Vet

Another "feely good bill," that does nothing for disabled Veterans under the age of 61. As usual, discimination, see you in the courts. No one thinks about the young disabled Veterans returning from serving their country in the War on Terror, who volunteered and paid the physical and mental price for service, lossing civilian jobs because they (reservist) were called to active duty, now disabled by a IUD, they can not return to work, they are loosing their homes. Hope this bill, if passed makes you feel good. Just remember, I took time to write this, and I will darn well take time to spend my $.41 postage and VOTE YOU ALL OUT COME NOVEMBER 2008,
