I don't agree with individuals who smoke in small confined spaces without ventilation with their children, although it seems that the public is attacking smokers whereas they are being told where they can and can not have a cigarette if they so choose. I agree they should not be allowed to smoke anywhere they chose due to the health effects that can harm another, although they shouldn't be treated as if they have leprosy.
Notification that smoking causes cancer has been established for quite some time so it is a known fact. Alcohol has also had the same strength of advertising, i.e. individuals can become addicted, abusive, lose their jobs, etc. which can and does effect children and family members more than simply smoking.
Making restrictive laws whereas individuals do not have any rights or freedom at all will turn us into a communist country.
I urge you to be cautious when discussing this Bill and not forget the rights of everyone, including the smokers.
