I find it reprehensible that the adult day care provider my family has chosen will soon become a state employee (assuming I have read the text of HB 2284 correctly). If we wanted our family member to be under the care of the state we would have chosen that route. We prefer that the adult day care provider be a private concern who does not have to be under any kind of collective bargaining agreement.
