    Technically Speaking...

    The city should own the infrastructure of the cable services running to each home, right? There's no reason local stations can't be run over the lines free for use. Cable used to be "Community Antenna Television" CATV... but has changed significantly since it first became popular. I refuse to do business with comcast and haven't for over a year now. I am satisfied with the Digital Signal over the Air. And Internet TV through the XBox360.
