This bill was signed, sealed and delivered to the legislature by the SEIU! If passed, hospitals will be forced to reduce the number of beds available (read patients admitted)because all of a sudden we have government telling hospitals how many patients can be assigned to one nurse irregardless of acuity, etc. What a stinker of a bill. And guess who really benefits? The nurses and the union, NOT patients or the hospitals that are already crushed by regulation and oversight! Urge your Senator to turn thumbs down to this bill!
