What a great idea! Those lower-income people in smaller cities and towns *definitely* deserve to subsidise commercial sports in the big city!
I just don't understand why this is such a limited proposal, why tax only King County for Seattle's benefit? Take the example of Sound Transit, they're sucking transportation funds from far and wide to build boondoggle tunnels instead of bus lines that would serve orders of magnitude more commuters.
