At least that is what the founding fathers had in mind. Saving budget matters until the last week of the session is a disservice to the citizens of Washington State. &lt;p&gt;Why are these politicians increasing taxes? They should be lowering taxes, not finding creative ways to undermine the wishes of the people by stealing more money to fund union pensions. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The problem is that these entitlement programs are collapsing the system; the problem is not that our taxes are too low. These politicians have it ass-backwards. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Why is Washington State following in lock-step unison with California&amp;#39;s debt problems? We should be doing the exact opposite of California, not following down their path of destruction like a bunch of lemmings. &lt;/p&gt;
