The bill fails to place some responsibility on people recreating in areas open to hunters. Non-hunters should be required to wear hunter orange, just like hunters are required during Deer and Elk modern rifle seasons. Had the poor soul that was shot been properly dressed, she would be alive today. This in now way absolves the responsible party for his action. And I do support your age change in unsupervised hunters. However, too many times I have witnessed people hiking in areas open to modern rifle with no regard for their own safety. The long ranges of modern firearms make this a real hazard.
Why not help people help themselves instead of putting the entire onus on the hunters!
Thank you.
