There's nothing fundamentally wrong with letting kids pre-register to vote.  But I'm appalled that anyone would waste time on such a bill right now, given all the other problems we're facing.  Let's work on the stuff that really matters.

I would be interested in the implementation and administrative costs associated with the passing of this legislation.  Additionally, is the Secretary of State to assume that 30 days prior to the "child's" 18th birthday that they are still eligible to vote?  Do they reside at the preregistered address?  Is there a valid signature identification of this "child"?

This is simply outrages allowing a 13 year old to register to vote, you should be working on a bill that requires current and new voters to use a picture i.d. to register and vot!!!!!
