2006 Senate Bill 6236: Changing election dates and deadlines

To change the date of nominating primaries to the 3rd Tuesday of the August preceding the election. The bill also changes timeframes for special elections and filings for nonpartisan offices, requires that absentee ballots for overseas and military voters be mailed at least 30 days before elections, and changes several other timelines for elections.   Official Text and Analysis.
