2011 Senate Bill 5066: Streamlining contractor appeals

To streamline provisions relating to unregistered contractors' defaults in payment and notices of infractions. The bill provides that nitification of an infraction also constitutes a notice of assessment, which becomes final after twenty days instead of thirty. It also combines a notice of garnishment with an order to withhold and deliver wages. (Companion: HB 1055).   Official Text and Analysis.

To modify the appeal time period for both the infraction and penalty amount to be appealed is increased to 30 days.
