2011 Senate Bill 5052: Licensing court reporting firms or agencies

Requires private court reporting firms or agencies doing business in the state to be licensed and to comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to certified court reporters. The bill also authorizes the director of the department of licensing to impose a civil penalty for a violation of the court reporting practice act.   Official Text and Analysis.
