To create the “Washington enhanced intelligence act,” which prohibits a state, local, or county law enforcement agency from collecting or maintaining protected information about an individual or group unless the information directly relates to criminal conduct or activity. It also requires equires state, local, and county law enforcementagencies to adopt a privacy policy for protected information and to ensure that all employees are properly trained in this policy.
